Oberta la convocatòria de residències d’Art Digital a Mediaestruch

MediaEstruch es l’àrea de l’Estruch Fàbrica de Creació especialitzada en investigació, desenvolupament i innovació en l’art digital i la tecnologia. Disposa d’un MediaLab equipat amb material tecnològic per a la producció de propostes escèniques multimèdia i una sala d’assaig de 9 x 11 metres amb magatzem annex, projector i pantalla de projecció. Els residents de MediaEstruch poden fer ús de l’espai Medialab i del seu equipament, de la sala d’assaig i de l’espai de treball del coworking creatiu. La residència ofereix també allotjament gratuït i conclou amb una mostra oberta del projecte desenvolupat per l’artista.

Tipologia dels projectes
Projectes d’arts escèniques, performàtiques, música, visuals o de qualsevol tipus, relacionades amb l’art electrònic i experimental.
Criteris de Sel·lecció
Es donarà prioritat a projectes d’investigació en art tecnològic, a projectes d’investigació social o filosòfica i a artistes que durant la residència habitin al centre, als apartaments de l’Estruch. Es valoraran positivament els projectes que incloguin activitats obertes al públic en forma de mostres, xerrades, tallers…
Destinataris
Creadors, investigadors, artistes, musics, col·lectius i companyies escèniques, de l’àmbit internacional, de l’estat espanyol o de Catalunya que apliquen les arts digitals en els seus projectes.
Període de residència
La convocatòria és des de l’1 d’octubre de 2017 al 28 de Febrer de 2018. La residencia pot tenir una durada mínim 1 setmana fins a 5 mesos, dates a escollir, amb allotjament gratuït.
Com sol·licitar residència?
Empleneu la FITXA DE SOL·LICITUD PER A RESIDÈNCIES D’ART DIGITAL amb les vostres demandes de residència i envieu-la a: estruch@ajsabadell.cat posant a l’assumpte “Residència d’Art Digital”.
Caldrà adjuntar al mateix correu un document amb la descripció del projecte i currículum de l’artista o companyia (en format pdf, no superior a 3MB).
La convocatòria restarà oberta del 3 al 22 de març de 2017. els projectes seleccionats es faran públics el 31 de març de 2017 al web de l’estruch

Criteri de selecció
La Comissió de selecció valorarà d’interès de la proposta i la seva adequació als serveis i recursos oferts per Mediaestruch, amb especial atenció a aquells projectes que facin servir noves tecnologìes com a part escencial de la creació.

Condicions de la cessió
- Tota residència de producció de MediaEstruch implica un compromís d’exhibició dels resultats de la recerca desenvolupada en el centre.
- L’artista es compromet a participar de les dinàmiques del centre durant la seva residència.
- La companyia o artista seleccionat haurà de fer constar en tots els materials de difusió relacionats amb el projecte produït el logotip del centre i el de l’Ajuntament de Sabadell en qualitat d’organisme col·laborador.
- Els artistes o col·lectius seleccionats en residència signaran un document que regularà la cessió de l’espai i del material, on constaran el calendari, els horaris i les sales utilitzades, així com també l’acceptació de la normativa d’us, a mes de la contrapartida que s’acordi a canvi de la residencia de creació, si s’escau.
- L’incompliment per part de l’artista, col·lectiu o companyia seleccionat d’aquests acords deixaran sense efecte la cessió dels espais i les infraestructures destinats a la residencia.

Open call residences Digital Art MEDIAESTRUCH
for the period October 2017 – February 2018
MediaEstruch is the area of Estruch Creation Factory specialized in research, development and innovation in digital art and technology. Our MediaLab is equipped with technology for the production of multimedia and scenic proposals rehearsal room of 9 x 11 meters with warehouse annex, projector and projection screen. MediaEstruch residents can use the space Medialab and its equipment, the rehearsal room and workspace creative coworking. The residence also offers free accommodation and concludes with an exhibition open project developed by the artist.

Selection criteria

Terms of Assignment
All residence MediaEstruch production involves a commitment to display the results of the research conducted at the center.
The artist agrees to participate in the dynamics of the center during his residency.
The selected artist or company must indicate in all dissemination materials related to the project produced the logo and the center of the city of Sabadell as an agency partner.
The artists or groups selected residence will sign a document that will regulate the transfer of space and material, which consist calendar, timetables and rooms used as well as the acceptance of the rules of use in month of the consideration agreed in exchange for the creation of residence, if applicable.
Failure on the part of the artist, group or company selected these agreements annul the assignment of spaces and facilities intended for residence.
